Can't believe I haven't done any half decent Sherlock art before. I love these two to bits. Also I need to get back into drawing now that I am finally on holiday.
I take fanart requests (particularly Sherlock and Doctor Who) on my Tumblr: [link] Trying to make it less reblogs and more art.
this is a fun pose! it conveys Sherlock's catlike, uncaring attitude and John's patient annoyance well. you appear to be consistent enough with the direction of your light source and overall confidence of the piece. however, speaking of light sources, i think it may get a little muddled on John's legs. or are they meant to give the more faded jean look? if that's so, that may be the culprit throwing me off.
the typical Benedict Sherlock "bored" frown is well done. however, i feel it may throw off his face. either his eyes are too high on his head or his mouth is too low, and peering at it again it may be that his eyes could be too high. perhaps at the angle that his face is directed or the open frown, something does seem off.
his right arm (hanging off the side of the couch) may be at a strange angle. it looks as though the arm may be backwards, even. perhaps sprawling over the couch in the same position may give some insight.
IDK, you tell me. Are you talking about his or our left? Because if it's our left, I have to agree that the arm is pretty much just derp in general. If it's his left, it's nicotine patches as well as derp. I swear I'll try harder to make less derp arms next time. The nicotine patches stay, though.

i hope this helps!
